Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This portable wireless keypad will allow you to arm, disarm and partially arm [Home mode] your alarm system from any room in your home. Keep your Control Panel/Keypad safely hidden from potential burglars and operate your alarm system with your auxiliary keypad. Disabling this keypad does not impact the operation of your alarm system. Keep this portable unit by your entrance door or garage or any room in your house. If you have a multi-floor dwelling you can keep a portable unit on the second floor or near your bed. Your basic central unit needs to be near phone lines and power source but with this portable unit you have complete flexibility.

Customer Reviews: Nice secondary keypad June 27, 2010 northend999 (Bloomington, IL United States) Bought this product to compliment the AAS 600 Wireless Home Security Alarm System that I purchased. Works well with the AAS600 control unit. However, the interface is a little different. I would like to see it match the AAS600 interface. This unit requires you enter your password and then know a small list of single digit codes to arm, disarm, and panic the system. This is why I am only giving it 4Stars. I plan (and I would assume most people would plan) to use this as a secondary keypad for a lesser used door. What's the chance I'm going to remember those codes 6 months from now? Would rather see specific "action" buttons, then try to remember those codes months from now.
Still a great product...just looking for some consistency.
