GB January 27, 2010 Gary (Antelope, CA United States) I like these sensors, they are tiny enough not to be seen.
That is until there is movement and the light flashes when sending the alert to the base, it's very bright on a dark night.
The beep is the right volume for me on the base.
If you have batteries in the base you can carry it with you into another room if needed.
Add-on Driveway Sensor February 4, 2010 Jack Mroz (Central Wisconsin. USA) This is the second Chamberlain sensor I have purchased. The first sensor went out because I used low cost batteries and they leaked causing acid to short out the circuit board. This was my fault and my lesson to learn. The new sensor works great and does exactly what it was designed for. All in all a great product.
Chamberlain Wireless Motion Alert March 21, 2010 Danny K. Tilley (Fairfield, CA United States) Have bought these in the past. They are the only ones I have found that worked worth a darn. The newer ones seems to have overcome the "range" problem. I have one in my mailbox and one in the driveway.
Won't Work With RWA-300R Base Station. February 26, 2010 AJ 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Caution - this model add on sensor (CWPIR) will not work with the RWA-300R base staion. For the RWA-300A base, you need the PIR2-300R add on sensor. (I made this mistake.)
Could be better February 16, 2010 D. Cottrell I'm a little disappointed in this product. I live out in the country and never hear a car arriving outside. I bought this hoping it would alert me to cars coming in my driveway. We followed the directions in setting it up and it only works half the time. I have the sound turned up to the highest setting but it is not very loud at all and I have excellent hearing. I am going to buy an extra sensor to add on to it in hopes that one of the sensors will pick up the car when arriving and not when it's leaving.
2 weeks later we bought an add on sensor and somehow this has helped with how the first one we bought works. The sound is a little louder and it works 90 percent of the time now. Much happier with it than before.
