I was skeptical because of the price, but decided to try it out. It was a gift for a friend who worked in an office but was not able to see who was coming because of the way the desk was situated. When it was hooked up, it worked perfectly and my friend was able to get advanced notice about when someone came in. And you don't have to screw it to the wall. My friend loves this and keeps thanking me!

I bought this door chime to use in my office for those times when there is no one at the reception area. Unfortunately this product is entirely unsuitable for office use since it is extremely loud (my neighbors can hear it through the walls) and the door chime rings three times when one time would more than suffice. The "Welcome" voice is in Chinese so it is not suitable for use in an office dealing with non-Chinese speaking customers.
If I were working in a louder environment this product might be fine, but for an office it is too loud, the music is too shrill, and the voice isn't in English.
