| Customer Reviews: It lights up our driveway and stairs February 14, 2010 Terry Molnar The motion sensor we bought over 5 years ago had finally gone erratic. This replacement works well, lighting up our driveway and stairs so it is safe. The product arrived promptly, but without directions. I called Best Cutlery and Cookware, and got a friendly person, who promptly provided me with an internet link from which I could download a manual.
Works fine, perhaps a little too sensitive. January 1, 2010 Willilam E. Williams (Dameron, MD USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This sensor worked exactly as advertised and installed without a hitch. I use it to control an outside light that's screwed into one of their special socket adapters (Heath Zenith SL-6010-WH5 Wireless Command Lamp Socket), and it turns on the light quite reliably. The light sometimes comes on in the middle of the night when I don't expect it, perhaps because of a coyote or deer wandering into its field of view, and I think the sensor may sometimes respond to heavy snow. But overall it seems to work very well.
Works but not that straightforward... April 13, 2010 ft Had decided to add an additional wireless motion sensor to my current one sensor setup. It did not work initially - it would turn it on but not off. Until I "rebooted" both sensors by removing the batteries and putting them back. Only then did the switch work with both sensors properly. The unit I bought from Amazon looked refurbished - they was excess glue squeezed out at the seams. The AAA batteries lasted a year.
Good idea September 22, 2009 Daniel E. Schroeder 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Didn't work after a week!! In the process of contacting suppliers and manufacturer, great idea if they work though.
