Air pressure sensor circuitry
The RA-50 uses advanced logic CMOS microchip technology. This microsensor circuitry senses sudden changes in air pressure, so that changes caused by the slightest opening of a door or window will trigger the solid state alarm. But as sensitive as the RA-50 is to changes in air pressure, it's insensitive to the vibrations and external movements that cause false alarms on most other security systems. Self-regulating temperature compensation and a high signal to-noise ratio maximizes the alarm's effectiveness.
When the siren goes off, intruders stay out
Unlike other systems that use external alarms that frighten the neighbors, the RA-50 uses and internal 110 db siren that frightens the intruder. So piercing is the siren the specially designed compact Piezo sounder that the intruder will be forced to make a hasty exit. So loud, in fact, that hearing damage may result from improper use.
Nothing to install but a battery
There is no alarm system more effective or easier to use than the RA-50. Unlike complicated security systems that require expensive installations, the RA-50 takes virtually no installation at all. This self-powered, completely wireless unit operates on a single 9 volt alkaline battery. Just put it anywhere in your car and push the button. It WORKS ! A great little inexpensive alarm ! July 2, 2010

Didn't expect a whole lot for the money but I didn't want to install a full-fledged alarm system, just something that blinked and would scare off the majority of the glove-box looters and such. Combined with 'The Club' it makes for a good system. Easy to install, easy to set up, LOUD as all get-out! I'll buy a few for travel and the other car. Give it a try, what have you got to lose, $14?
