This just arrived yesterday, and it looks and feels better that the pic shown. Very sturdy and well built. The audible siren/dog bark alarm is a nice touch (will get your attention) I like that this order arrived so quickly. thank you!

We got this for security - and use it every so often. It works as promised, and makes a moderately loud noise if the door is moved/opened enough to trigger the mechanism. I am not sure about how much it adds to our home's security, as the same action on the door will trigger the alarm that is wired to alert the alarm company and sets off a very loud alarm in the house itself. This may be best for someone who does not have a centrally monitored alarm. One other advantage is that it strengthens the door by making it very difficult to open from outside. So, a burglar would have to basically break the door open - hopefully making it one step more difficult to get it.

Solid product. My only complaint is the alarm is not loud enough. The barking dog is not realistic at all. Good for an apartment but it's a little difficult to hear in a two story house. Also drains the battery really fast (less than two weeks).
Does make me more secure at night knowing that it's up against the front door.

I return this product after I bought it because it did not meet my expectation
it doesn't work, it has two alarm sound you can push the door open and nobody would now about it.The dog sound can't hardly hear it and it doesn't grip like is suppose to.
You push the door and the bar slide back on smooth surface I have vinyl tiles (JUNK)

We returned this product. When we received this product and placed it against the door the head snapped off. The company we bought it from was very nice about it and they issued a refund.
