| Customer Reviews: Works for us! June 5, 2008 Dee Cat 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product works exactly as it should. Although we have already needed to change the battery. And, after the product is installed, it is difficult to change the battery without an extra set of hands. But, this should in no way deter you from purchasing. We highly recommend it.
Great for theft deterrance May 3, 2010 Michael Crone (Okinawa, Japan) I have had this installed for a month or two now, with the same battery. I have yet to change it, and I use it on a daily basis, arming and disarming it several times a day.
It actually matches my metal door, and is a small enough profile to fit behind the door without the door hitting it. The makes it very difficult for intruders to disable the alarm before it triggers.
This alarm is amazingly loud! Keep this in mind, as arming and disarming it, as well as the warning pulse are quite loud themselves.
Remember, this is only annoying to a burglar unless you or someone else is there to respond to it.
Also, the buttons are made of hard plastic, as is the case. Not only would this be easy to destroy, the buttons sometimes stick and and can cause the alarm to go off until you are able to dislodge the stuck button.

This product is not good at all because it burns through batteries every few DAYS! That's right. Otherwise, it seems to sound an alarm loud enough to warn you of entry, but I cannot keep mine in batteries that often, so it is essentially useless.
