| Customer Reviews: Sensor Works Very Well but Limited Directionally June 25, 2010 G. Troutman (Winston-Salem, NC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
...at least mounted under the eaves of a house. The sensor stalk is jointed but the two joints only allow movement in a single plane and the head can only be twisted perhaps 50 degrees side to side. The entire stalk can be rotated from the base by loosening the knurl nut, true, but then the light sockets block the movement range. (sigh)
It's a shame, too, because I'm very pleased with the range and sensitivity of the sensor. The only quibble with the electronics is that this model doesn't have a daylight test mode - I had to wait until dark to adjust the detection area. But the cheap price makes up for this minor issue.
replacement light for entry December 2, 2009 Propa mac Zach (MI) This light works well for me. It is place out of the weather under an eave. It functions as described after a different brand failed. I use the CFL floodlight in this and they work very well.
Motion Detector Flood light. April 17, 2010 David W. Roth (Keller, TX USA) Light has plastic housing but looks nice after installed.
So far it works very well. I consider it a good value.
Good Product January 9, 2007 Noel R. Aragon 8 out of 16 found this review helpful
It works fine but if you want to spend a little more money, you should get the 180 degrees model, it will cover a wider area.
Won't work for me July 21, 2010 Tollie Mitchell (North Carolina) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I made a mistake when I mounted this hummer before testing it. I can't get it to work at all and now I either take it down and try to get it working or send it back or just say "the heck with it". Geesh.
