The sensor works well, and came as ordered. It was not difficult to install into the system, and does what we need.

This item has been in use for 3+ years outside and open to the elements. This device worked very well and I will order another one immediately.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Motion Detection for Home or Business   April 6, 2010

Bought this transmitter with the control box a year ago for home protection, liked it so much I bought another.
I keep one in our driveway area to notify us if someone crosses our front yard boundary (I set it up to cover the 80' width of our front yard), the second transmitter I set up for nighttime motion detection inside our house should someone decide to go that far. Since we live in a cul-de-sac, the only real way into our home is through the front, so an intruder would first have to get past this first line of protection set up in the driveway. If someone should actually break into the house at night, the second transmitter would sound off when they come close to the bedroom to meet Mr. Springfield XD .45 :)
Excellent product! I may even buy another they work so well. You can have up to 3 monitors for each control box. Each transmitter is set up to make a different noise at the control box, so you will know what area the motion is coming from.
A year old, and the first one's battery is still going strong.
